The original Chaplets are available at St. Andrews Productions
through the Father of All Mankind Apostolate, and are relatively inexpensive. You may want to purchase a more durable medal (see picture below) from them as well. They offer 2 sizes, which you can attach with a small safety pin through the ring that's attached to their medal, and to the cord area where our medal is attached. Expect your free Chaplet
to stretch a little. We're trying to make them so most people can wear them around the neck if they want to, as they do not poke, pinch, or grab. If you want to stretch yours out to fit over your head, you can do so by gently pulling to make it fit (if it's too tight). Don't pull on the medal because it may break off.

These Chaplets are very easy to make, and all the supplies are often at your local craft store: 1. Pony Beads; 2. Nylon Cord; 3. A Lighter (to burn the ends of finished knots); and 4. (the more difficult part) Shrinky Dink by Klutz (under $10.00 sh/hdlg. inc. for 8 sheets). We soon hope to have a pattern available (that you can email us for) to trace onto your Shrinky Dink sheets (I think we made 64). You can use this pattern if you want to make your own medals and mass produce these yourself. Our goal is to make these as inexpensively as possible so as to be able to give away as many as possible. We will always give them away free of charge. However, due to the tremendous increase of requests for them, we have not been able to keep up with the demand or the costs involved. Therefore, we are asking people who want to promote this devotion to consider making a donation to help cover the costs. Also, if we are able to buy enough materials ahead of time, we would not fall so far behind in the making of them, and would be able to ship them out right away. Begin with about 39 in. of cord. Burn the ends (trim w/scissors if needed to get cord through holes). Make a loose knot 1" from end and begin stringing 8 red beads; then make a knot about 1 bead's width from the last red bead. String 1 gold bead, then make another knot tight to the gold bead. Repeat 8 times. Then, take your top or longer end and pull it through the loose knot that you first made at the bottom; and tighten. Knot those 2 ends together. String 3 gold beads on your long end and make a knot. Then attach your medal by making a loose knot and stringing the cord through the medal ring or opening, and pull that end through the loose end and tighten. Make a final knot to tighten. Trim excess cord and burn with the blue flame of any lighter.
